Last week, a group of our Year 7 and 8 students represented our school at the Sportshall Athletics competition at Ashington Leisure Centre.
The event tests power, speed and endurance, and all students took part in a mixture of running, jumping and throwing events, performing well across both track and field events!
There were six local schools in attendance and three of our teams qualified for the next level of the competition, the County Athletic Finals in Blyth, where they will compete against schools across the region.
